Greenland volunteers to draft standardized wetland-permit review form, will seek planner and inspector input

At the April 8 meeting, members of the Greenland Conservation Commission said they had gathered model wetland-permit review forms from Vermont, Massachusetts and Exeter as a starting point for a standardized local review form.
Chair Kathleen Babin-Johnson and member Jean Eno described the examples and proposed that drafting of Greenland’s form should include input from other informed parties, specifically Town Planner Mark Fougere and the town’s new building inspector. Jean said she would forward the Exeter document and an AI-generated draft Kathleen prepared to Charlotte for distribution to the identified reviewers for comments.
Commissioners said the goal is a consistent, comprehensive review form the conservation commission can use when advising planning and code officials. No vote was recorded; members agreed to circulate the materials and solicit feedback before drafting a final version for consideration.
