Greenland Planning Board sets CIP deadline, approves consent agenda and minutes

At its April 2 work session the Greenland Planning Board reviewed administrative items including the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) form, the consent agenda and minutes, and set key submission and hearing dates.
The Board compared the proposed 2026 CIP form to earlier versions and agreed to keep the minimum capital-item threshold at $20,000 for items to be listed for the next six years or for multi-year capital reserve funding. Department heads were instructed to return CIP forms by Friday, May 15, 2026. Martha Wassell volunteered to update and refine the CIP spreadsheet ahead of the May 7 work session.
The Board approved the consent agenda—recording a $1,942 payment to Fougere Planning and Development—and approved the minutes of March 19, 2026 (motion by Heather Droesch, seconded by Morris Goodman), with both motions recorded as carried unanimously in the minutes. The Board also set its next meetings: a public hearing on April 16 (340 Breakfast Hill Road on the agenda) and the May 7 work session, which will include review of the Town Center Overlay District, a proposal from Tom and Alison Brackett to purchase town-owned land, and CIP spreadsheet review.
