Great Bay Reserve outlines Glenn Cove conservation project and ribbon-cutting

Cory Riley, manager of the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, and Lyn Vaccaro, the reserve’s Coastal Training Program coordinator, updated the Greenland Conservation Commission on March 11 about a historic and cultural conservation project at Glenn Cove and said a ribbon-cutting is planned once the property is ready for public use.
The presentation, which the commission agreed to share on its Facebook page, emphasized that the site will offer recreational opportunities for residents and visitors when restoration and access planning are complete. Vaccaro provided handouts and tabletop cards for "Caring For Our Marshes: A Guide for New Hampshire’s Seacoast," which commissioners will distribute at Town Hall and through GCC outreach.
Commission members did not take formal action on the project at the meeting; they requested the GCC post the presentation and share updates with the public as they come in. The commission moved on to other agenda items following the presentation.
