The Town of Farmington Trustees of the Trust Funds on Feb. 19, 2026, approved four withdrawals from capital reserve funds totaling $62,501.10 to pay town invoices and voted to deposit a check into the Abraham Burtman Scholarship Fund.
Vice Chairman James Bourque opened the meeting at 5:54 p.m. and led trustees through routine business. Secretary Brian Beaverstock moved to accept the minutes of the Jan. 22, 2026 meeting; Bourque seconded and the motion was approved, 2-0.
The trustees then reviewed requests and supporting invoices presented by the Farmington Board of Selectmen. Secretary Brian Beaverstock moved to withdraw $14,412 from the Water Capital Reserve Fund to pay town invoices; Bourque seconded and the motion passed, 2-0. Beaverstock next moved to withdraw $8,054.13 from the Future Technology Fund to pay invoices; Bourque seconded and the motion passed, 2-0. Beaverstock also moved to withdraw $14,487.63 from the Town Levee Repair Capital Reserve Fund to pay invoices; Bourque seconded and the motion passed, 2-0. On a separate motion in the following segment, Beaverstock moved to withdraw $25,547.34 from the Landfill Closure Fund to pay invoices; Bourque seconded and the motion passed, 2-0.
Bookkeeper Kathy Seaver reported receipt of a check from the Abraham Burtman Trust designated for deposit into the Abraham Burtman Scholarship Fund. Vice Chairman James Bourque moved to deposit the check into that scholarship fund; Secretary Brian Beaverstock seconded and the motion was approved, 2-0. The minutes do not record the check amount.
The meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m. The trustees scheduled their next meeting for Thursday, March 26, 2026.
