Turtle Lake commission approves gaming authorizations, event permits, law-enforcement contract, property sale and summer hire

The Turtle Lake City Commission on May 18 approved a set of routine items including gaming-site authorizations, event permits tied to Turtle Days, a law-enforcement contract for 2027, a property sale and a part-time hire.

Commissioner Stacie Adams moved and Commissioner Rick Schwalk seconded approval of a gaming-site authorization for the Tipsy Turtle; the minutes record Adams and Schwalk voting in favor and Commissioner Tim Britton abstaining, and they show the motion passed.
