The motion to approve the street project was made by Commissioner Stacie Adams and seconded by Commissioner Tim Britton. The roll-call vote recorded Britton-yes, Adams-yes, Schwalk-no and Mayor Dianne Zenker-yes; the motion passed. Moore Engineering requested authorization to advertise for bids with a first publication on March 19 and an earliest bid date in early April; the commission approved that advertisement request in a subsequent motion (moved by Adams, seconded by Britton) by unanimous roll call.
The commission did not amend the project plans during the meeting; award timing remains as announced and additional project particulars are available in the plan documents at city hall.
