The Supervisors of the Checklist in Danville met at 8:00 a.m. on June 27 at Danville Town Hall and processed certification letters required by the Secretary of State, according to minutes submitted by Mary Jo Gallagher.
Gallagher said the voter list had been updated and approved at the board's June 2 meeting and that the certification letters were printed on town letterhead, addressed and mailed the same day in compliance with state mandates. "They were successfully mailed at 11:00 AM," Gallagher stated.
The meeting record lists Carole Hillard, Mary Zita Reedy, Mary Jo Gallagher and Town Clerk Michelle Healy as present. Mary Zita Reedy took the letters to the post office and oversaw the mailing, per the minutes.
The supervisors also retrieved all correspondence from the supervisors' mailbox and entered the materials into the State Voter Registration System (SVRS), leaving no items on the SVRS dashboard, Gallagher recorded.
The board scheduled its next meeting for Wednesday, July 29 at 6:00 p.m. to give voters time to respond to the certification letters; at that meeting the supervisors will begin revising the voter list in preparation for the upcoming primary election.
No motions, votes or objections were recorded in the minutes for this meeting. The minutes conclude with a signature line reading "Respectfully submitted, Mary Jo Gallagher."
