Village board approves agenda and minutes, staff readies absentee-voting email and notes snow-emergency compliance

Member Karen Peterson moved to approve the agenda and Member Justin Martinez seconded; the motion carried unanimously. Member Rob Westerlund moved to approve the March 10 minutes and Martinez seconded; that motion also passed unanimously.
Village Administrator Curt Erickson told the board that Westerlund and Marx’s board biographies had not yet been received and that staff planned to distribute an email to the community this week ahead of absentee voting beginning Tuesday, March 17. Erickson also reported that most residents complied with the snow emergency and parked off the streets, though a handful of areas still needed to be addressed later that day.
No citizens spoke during the public-comment period, the minutes state. The meeting closed after a motion to adjourn by Member Justin Martinez, seconded by Jim Marx; the minutes record the adjournment time as 9:21 a.m.
