Mazomanie board conditionally approves permanent dumpster at Walter Crossing

Administrator Curt Erickson reviewed the Looyes’ revised proposal placing the dumpster near the northeast corner of a four-unit building along Walter Road. The plan calls for a minimum 23-foot setback from Walter Road, an enclosure approximately 8 by 12 feet with a maximum 6-foot height, and a driveway opening no wider than 30 feet. The Board’s motion required verification that the enclosure is located outside the stormwater utility easement and stipulated that a gate be installed if the enclosure opening faces east; if the opening faces south, a gate is not required.
The motion to conditionally approve was made by Trustee Dawn Forseth and seconded by Trustee Jim Marx and carried unanimously.
