Vickers also reported that Interstate Engineering will conduct door-to-door lead-and-copper surveys for residents who did not return a prior survey sent in February 2024. The survey is part of preparations for water-system improvements; no construction schedule beyond the contingency was given at the meeting.
Next steps: the council’s approval clears the contractor estimate for payment processing, subject to the materials condition noted by the auditor. The council did not set a construction start date during the meeting.
