Wishek council approves city website contract and routine disbursements

The website and maintenance contract were approved on a motion by Councilperson Opsahl, seconded by Councilperson Welder; the roll call vote was 5-0. The item was recorded as part of the City Auditor’s report.
At the opening of the meeting the council also approved the consent agenda on a motion by Councilperson Welder, seconded by Councilperson Lipp. The consent agenda included minutes from the Feb. 3, 2025 meeting, permits (including a permit for a community event, “Big Screen”) and a schedule of disbursements and payroll. Notable payments listed in the minutes included JDA ($15,462.67) and WISHEK PARK BOARD ($30,925.34); numerous other payroll and vendor payments were recorded in the minutes as presented.
The minutes provide the roll call results for the consent agenda approval (5-0) and list vendors, payroll runs and amounts; they do not identify additional terms for the website contract beyond the $150 monthly maintenance fee.
