Alderman Schools moved the payment; Alderman Grady seconded, and the board approved the measure by voice vote. Deputy Clerk Janet recorded the vote as carrying 8-0.
The board also recommended awarding unit 2026-04, Midway Place Rehabilitation, to Northeast Asphalt Incorporated for $117,852.65. Alderman Schools made the motion and Alderman Hale seconded; the motion carried 8-0 on roll call.
These approvals clear routine project payments and a small streets/rehabilitation contract, allowing contractors to proceed on scheduled work. The utility reconstruction work was described to the board as having the water main complete and lateral work nearing finish on 8th Street.
No public comments were offered on either item during the meeting. The board moved on to other agenda matters after the votes.
