Merrimac trustees approve consent agenda, committee appointments and temporary beer license for festival

At the April 8 meeting trustees approved the consent agenda and bills, appointed members to the Plan Commission and other committees, reappointed representatives to the Fire Commission and Ambulance Committee, and approved a Temporary Class B beer license for the Merrimac Community Festival.
The Village of Merrimac Board of Trustees approved routine business and a slate of appointments at its April 8 meeting.
The board voted to approve the consent agenda and payment of outstanding monthly bills. President Andrew Gallus and Trustee Nate Taylor moved to approve the consent agenda; Gallus and Collin Bourgeois moved to approve payment of outstanding bills. The motions were recorded as 'All Ayes.'
Trustees made several appointments and reappointments: Collin Bourgeois was appointed Chairperson of the Plan Commission and Nicole Hartmann was appointed as a new Plan Commission member; Ann Hoffman, Bob Pfaff and Bob Garrison were reappointed to the Plan Commission. Trustees also reappointed members of the Parks & Recreation Committee and the Board of Appeals, reappointed George Naxera to the Ambulance Committee, and reappointed Trustee Stan Senger as the Village representative to the Merrimac Fire Commission (with Tom Gallus and Phil Budde serving rotating terms noted in the minutes).
The board approved a Temporary Class B beer license for Merrimac Fire & Rescue for use at the Merrimac Community Festival on June 14, 2025. All motions related to these routine items were recorded as unanimous ('All Ayes').
