Chairman Tim Klink said unforeseen costs can arise before a five-year plan is complete and told the library the town would work with it when such needs occur. Clerk Donna Hann noted the library fund balance and discussed the possibility of Waukesha County funding to support library operations.
The discussion focused on maintaining day-to-day services while planning for future contingencies; no formal votes or budget commitments were made at the meeting. The board and library agreed to continue sharing information and to provide the requested financial snapshot to guide future levy discussions.
