At its Nov. 14 meeting, the Town of Hillsborough Water & Sewer Commission conditionally approved two sewer Change of Use applications and authorized routine financial warrants.
The commission approved the sewer Change of Use application for 57 School Street (Map 024 Lot 021) pending receipt of the System Development Charge (SDC) of $2,013. The approval included explicit conditions: conduct and provide a video inspection of the existing sewer service and replace the sewer service from the right‑of‑way line to the proposed building. The Water Change of Use application for 57 School Street was approved as submitted.
The commission likewise conditionally approved the sewer Change of Use application for 51 School Street (Map 024 Lot 024) pending receipt of the SDC of $3,019.50, with the same conditions requiring video inspection and replacement of the sewer service from the right‑of‑way line to the proposed building. The Water Change of Use application for 51 School Street was approved as submitted.
Administratively, the commission reviewed and authorized 2024 AP Voucher #21 with Water = $26,577.67 and Sewer = $34,853.69, approved timecards, and authorized the 2024 4th Issue Billing Warrants listed as Water H = $210,986.29, Water D = $4,334.24, and Sewer = $267,796.98. These authorizations were recorded as part of routine financial business.
Commissioner Peter Mellen moved to adjourn; Commissioner Dave Lewis seconded. All commissioners voted in favor and the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
The conditional approvals require receipt of the stated SDC payments and fulfillment of the inspection and replacement conditions before sewer service changes are finalized.
