Hillsborough trustees approve reimbursements for school roof, boiler, firewall and several town funds

HILLSBOROUGH, N.H. — The Hillsborough Trustees of the Trust Funds approved multiple reimbursements and administrative transactions at their Sept. 12 meeting, including three school capital reimbursements and a package of municipal reimbursements.
Trustees unanimously approved a $136,600 reimbursement for the high school roof, directing remaining funds from CR 172 (HD Roof Fund) and the balance from CR 114 (HD Building and Maintenance Fund). They also approved $271,924.90 toward the high school boiler project (withdrawn from CR 178, HD HVAC Fund, and CR 114 as needed) and $29,756 for a firewall project at the high school to be paid from CR 176 (HD Technology Fund). Each of those three requests was moved and approved 3–0.
The trustees also reviewed a list of reimbursement requests submitted by Finance Administrator Lauralee LoMonaco for multiple CR accounts, including $74,694 from CR 108 (Ambulance Fund); $77,887.50 from CR 146 (Smith House Fund); $93,277.04 from CR 152 (Municipal Buildings Maintenance); $56,728.58 from CR 156 (Fire Department Equipment); $10,629.02 from CR 158 (Highway Department Equipment); $15,000 from CR 102 (Bridge Repairs); $96,255.13 from CR 162 (Parks Repairs and Maintenance); $1,782.15 from CR 168 (Transfer Station Equipment); $29,648.20 from CR 166 (Police Department Equipment); and $790.50 from the Dana Crain Trust Fund. Trustee Judy Ann Thibault moved to approve all reimbursements; Riché Colcombe seconded. Trustees voted 3–0 to approve all reimbursements.
The trustees also reviewed an email from Brett Taylor of the Emerald Lake Village District proposing deposits: $17,000 to CR 100 (Roads and Bridges), $2,500 to CR 128 (Dam maintenance) and creation of a new CR account for beach erosion and repair with an initial $20,000 deposit. Trustee Riché Colcombe agreed to contact Brett and advise him to deliver checks and backup documentation to Treasurer Bill Shee.
The approvals permit the school district and town departments to proceed with funded work and reimbursements from the designated capital reserve accounts; the minutes do not record further conditions or reporting requirements attached to the approvals.
