Gateway Ordinance work continues; CNHRPC to assist Sept. 4

Board members agreed to hear assistance on the proposed Gateway Ordinance from the Central NH Regional Planning Commission at the Sept. 4 meeting; Planning Director Robyn Payson also said a test Economic Development Commission survey will be circulated to members.
The Hillsborough Planning Board briefly discussed the proposed Gateway Ordinance on Aug. 21 and scheduled follow-up assistance from regional planners. Planning Director Robyn Payson said Matt Monahan of the Central New Hampshire Regional Planning Commission will attend the board’s Sept. 4 meeting to help the board with the Gateway Zone work.
Payson also informed members that an Economic Development Commission survey is being developed and that a test survey will be sent to the planning board members for review.
The board did not act on ordinance language at the Aug. 21 meeting and will continue the Gateway Zone discussion at a future meeting with CNHRPC participation.
