City to host EGLE and EPA informational meeting after water leak reported at Caseville Eagles

Troy Hartz, Caseville’s DPW supervisor, told the council there is a water leak at the Caseville Eagles. City Manager Jamie Learman said the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will schedule an informational meeting to address the water issues.
Police Chief Deborah Hopkins reported that the recent Shady Days event “went well,” according to the meeting minutes. The council received written reports from the Zoning Administrator, Advisory Water Board, Caseville Area Fire Protection Association and the DPW Committee and moved to file those reports.
