Hillsborough trustees approve $112,016.64 in reimbursements for municipal projects

HILLSBOROUGH, N.H. — The Hillsborough Trustees of the Trust Funds approved $112,016.64 in reimbursements from capital-reserve accounts at a Dec. 5 meeting at the Hillsborough Fire Department.
Trustees Riché Colcombe, Lori Adams and Judy Ann Thibault voted 3–0 to approve a series of requests from town departments and local entities covering equipment, facility maintenance and infrastructure repairs. The meeting began at 4:30 p.m. and adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
Trustees first approved the minutes from the Sept. 12, 2024 meeting after Trustee Riché Colcombe moved to accept them and Trustee Lori Adams seconded. The trustees then voted unanimously to authorize reimbursements requested by the town finance administrator and other public entities.
Finance Administrator Lauralee LoMonaco asked the trustees to reimburse three items from capital-reserve accounts: $2,847.77 from CR 152 for a furnace at the transfer station; $1,903.05 from CR 170 for a green-burial lot layout at Harvey Memorial Cemetery; and $10,723.85 from CR 158 for a tire machine and accessories for highway equipment. Trustee Judy Ann Thibault moved to approve the three requests together; Trustee Riché Colcombe seconded and the motion passed 3–0.
The trustees also approved a $47,377.51 reimbursement from CR 120 (Sewer Emergency Capital Reserve) requested by the Water and Sewer Commissioners to purchase a generator for the West Main Street sewer pump station. Trustee Lori Adams moved to approve the reimbursement and Trustee Judy Ann Thibault seconded; the vote was 3–0.
Additional approvals included $2,822.33 from CR 136 for Park Avenue sewer improvements; $41,834.60 from CR 114 (HD Building Maintenance Fund) requested by Rebecca Minichiello, Interim Business Manager at SAU #34, for a high-school boiler project; and $4,507.53 from CR 183 for beach restoration and repairs requested by Brett Taylor of the Emerald Lake Village District Board of Commissioners. Each motion carried on a 3–0 vote.
The trustees agreed to reconvene on Friday, Dec. 27, at 4:30 p.m. to review year-end reimbursement requests. The minutes were submitted by Trustee Lori Adams, secretary, on Dec. 6, 2024.
