The Atlantic Beach Town Council on April 21 authorized the purchase of a 2027 Braun ambulance from Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus (Summerville, S.C.) for $426,462 using the H-GAC cooperative purchasing program.
Councilmember Joseph Starling moved to approve Resolution 25-04-03: Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of a 2027 Braun Ambulance from Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus of Summerville, SC for $426,462 through the H-GAC Purchasing Program as authorized under N.C.G.S. 143-129(e)(3). Councilmember Joey Dean seconded the motion; the vote was unanimous, 4-0.
Councilmember Harry Archer then moved to approve the Purchase Agreement between Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus, Inc., and the Town of Atlantic Beach to buy the Braun Ambulance for $426,462. Mayor Pro Tem Austin Waters seconded. The motion carried 4-0.
