Select Board approves Autumn Nomad liquor license, discusses Black Mountain parking; several routine minutes approved

At its Feb. 4, 2025 meeting the Jackson Select Board approved a liquor license for Autumn Nomad LLC, discussed parking issues at Black Mountain Ski Area and handled routine minutes and scheduling items.
Jamie Melfi-McConkey, owner of Autumn Nomad LLC at 18 Black Mountain Road, requested authority to serve beer, wine and liquor inside the café. Barbara Campbell, chair of the Select Board, made a motion to approve the license; Robert (Bob) Thompson seconded the motion and the board approved it.
Erik Mogensen reported that guests at Black Mountain Ski Area received parking tickets; Chief Perley confirmed that six cars had been ticketed for parking along the road in violation of the parking ordinance and that the situation impacted traffic flow. Chair Campbell said Chief Perley and Black Mountain staff will work together to develop a solution to prevent further parking problems.
The board also took several procedural actions: it voted to keep the Jan. 28 non-public minutes sealed under RSA 91-A:3 II(a), approved the Jan. 28 regular meeting minutes and approved the Jan. 28 budget hearing #1 minutes. A bench request from the Chamber of Commerce was tabled until Feb. 25, 2025. The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
