EDA: Board agrees to fund next phase of Timmons site study; minutes approved unanimously

Chairman George Longest called the King and Queen County Economic Development Authority to order on Dec. 12, 2024, and members approved the Sept. 5, Oct. 17 and Nov. 7, 2024 minutes in a unanimous vote. Jesse Holmes moved to approve the three sets of minutes and Joseph McGuire seconded; the motion carried without recorded opposition.

Kelly Evko, a county staff member, said she and Chairman Longest attended a Board of Supervisors meeting to request funds for the next phase of the Timmons site study and that the Board agreed to provide the funding.
