The change narrows immediate geotechnical work to the east embankment to reduce upfront disturbance and align site work with the project construction schedule, staff said. The district emphasized the need for clearer scope and drilling specifications in WRA’s next submission before committing to additional field work.
Next steps are a revised WRA engineering proposal and subsequent trustee review before scheduling further field activity. No formal bid or construction contract action was recorded at the meeting.
