At its meeting, the Edgar County Board approved several routine and project-related items, including a resolution supporting a Truck Access Route Program (TARP) application and the acceptance of an ambulance services bid.
The board first approved the minutes of the May 13 regular meeting and then voted to approve claims against the county after motions and seconding. During the business agenda the board discussed and voted on a resolution of support for a TARP application for a portion of Lower Terre Haute Road (CH 4). The chair called for a motion; Andy moved and Russ seconded. The clerk conducted a roll call; Brunner, Ellis, Farnam, Lawton and Patrick all voted yes and the resolution passed.
The board then accepted the bid for ambulance service for EMS Special District Number 2; motions were made and seconded, the clerk called roll and the bid was accepted.
No amendments or dissenting votes were recorded in the roll-call items reported in the meeting. The board also heard a number of department reports and public comments earlier in the meeting before adjourning by voice vote.
