Kern County Child Support Services announced its 17th annual Ready Set Back to School Health and Wellness Fair will be held on Aug. 6 at the Kern County Museum from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will distribute free backpacks and school supplies to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
