Commissioners approve transfer of The Range's on‑sale beer and liquor license

The Williston Board of City Commissioners voted Sept. 10 to approve the transfer of The Range ND, LLC's on‑sale beer and liquor license to a new location at 10 1st Ave East.
City Attorney Taylor Olson presented the application and said the Liquor and Licensing Committee had reviewed and recommended the transfer; property owners within 150 feet were notified and required publication was completed "per Century Code," Olson said. Mayor Howard Klug opened the public hearing, asked three times if anyone wished to speak, received no comments and closed the hearing.
Commissioner Tate Cymbaluk moved to approve the transfer; Commissioner Victoria Siemieniewski seconded. The vote was recorded AYE: James Bervig, Tate Cymbaluk, Victoria Siemieniewski and Howard Klug; ABSENT: Brad Bekkedahl. The motion carried 4–0.
No additional conditions or restrictions were recorded in the minutes. The license transfer will proceed as authorized by the city following required administrative processing.
