Lunenburg Electoral Board reviews election preparations, records small voter increase

The minutes note the board remains under consideration for a Phase 2 SLCGP cybersecurity grant; if awarded, the registrar said the funding would arrive sometime this summer. The registrar reported that corrective action to change the location of polling place 101 has been completed and that work to identify emergency alternative polling places is ongoing, with the deputy registrar preparing a report for the next meeting.
Chairman Donna Dagner provided a legislative update on passed and pending bills, though the minutes do not list specific bill numbers. The board received an informational report on early voting, absentee ballot mailings and election-day preparations; members and the registrar volunteered to present subjects at upcoming training events and the chairman reviewed proposed election officer assignments for the primary election.
