Washburn Life directs golf tournament 'Mulligan' proceeds to town pool

Richard Perkarevich, a board member, moved to designate Mulligan proceeds to the pool, saying, “I would move that we would, designate the Mulligans definitely for the pool.” Donna Summer seconded the motion. The board approved the measure by voice vote; members said the Mulligan pricing (two for $20) could generate noticeable support for the pool if widely purchased.
The tournament was described by organizers as a 4 p.m. registration with a 4:30 p.m. tee time, a $40 per-player entry ($160 per four-person team), and expanded sponsorship tiers including a $500 dinner-team sponsor. Board members discussed signage options and agreed the Mulligan line should be shown on printed and course signage so donors know the proceeds support the pool.
