River Ridge supervisors sworn in and board elects officers; ethics training deadlines added to calendar

At the Nov. 19 meeting the River Ridge Community Development District administered the Oath of Office to newly elected supervisors Kurt Blumenthal (Seat 3), Terry Mountford (Seat 4) and Robert Twombly (Seat 5). Cleo Adams, acting in her role as district staff and notary, administered the oath.
The board then considered and adopted Resolution 2025-02, which elected Bob Schultz as Chair and Terry Mountford as Vice Chair and left prior appointments — including Chesley "Chuck" Adams as Secretary and Craig Wrathell as Treasurer and Assistant Secretary — unchanged. The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Terry Mountford and seconded by Kurt Blumenthal and was recorded as adopted unanimously.
Board members discussed the statutory and administrative requirements for newly sworn supervisors, including the four-hour required ethics training and Form 1 disclosure filing. The board directed staff to add the FY2024–2025 ethics training deadlines to the Key Activity Dates List for follow-up.
