Board votes 3–2 to install temporary 'zombie box' rather than relocate lake aerator

On a motion by Bob Schultz, seconded by Robert Twombly, the board approved installing a "zombie box" at the existing aerator location at a cost of $3,098. The motion passed 3–2: Schultz, Twombly and Keith Merrill voted in favor; Terry Mountford and Kurt Blumenthal opposed. Board discussion included a suggestion to revisit the $10,755 relocation proposals during FY2026 budget deliberations.
The approval authorizes the temporary installation rather than the more expensive relocation; staff said the relocation and additional electrical work would be revisited in future budget planning if needed.
