Paradise Township Sewer Authority records $335,989 operating loss, approves bills and Letter of Intent with York Water

Treasurer Kaitlyn Jones told the Paradise Township Sewer Authority that the final audit completed by RKL showed an operating loss of $335,989 and a decrease in net position of $277,659, and the board approved the Treasurer's report and payment of bills.

Kaitlyn Jones reviewed the Statement of Net Position from the final audit, stating the specific operating-loss and net-position figures. The board then reviewed the list of December bills paid from the administrative checking account and the account balances as of Dec. 31, 2025: $239,539.84 in the administrative checking account at S&T Bank; $257,138.85 in the Truist grant account; and $20,645.58 in the Truist OLDS account.

Following the financial review, Dave Bowman moved and J.B. Stoltzfus seconded a motion to approve the Treasurer's report and payment of bills; the motion carried unanimously. After discussion later in the meeting, Bryan Stoltzfus moved and Dave Bowman seconded to approve a Letter of Intent with York Water Company; that motion also carried unanimously.
