At the March 2, 2026 meeting the Paradise Township Sewer Authority reviewed a backwash routing request from B&D Builders and several administrative items.
The board examined a request to redirect backwash for Lot 6 (originally for 34 S Vintage Road) into the public sewer system. Engineer Aaron Dewald told the board the projected increase is not substantial, would not require purchase of additional EDUs, and that the pump station at Ola Way has sufficient capacity to treat the discharged water. The minutes do not record a formal vote to approve the backwash routing; the board simply reviewed Rettew’s findings.
Separately, the board decided to ask the solicitor to draft a termination letter to PreDoc for review at a future meeting. In old business, Brian Groff reported York Water visited the wastewater plant on Feb. 20 and submitted a proposal that is currently under solicitor review.
