Executive Committee approves Amsterdam Dunes wetland credit sale, carryover resolution and other routine measures

The Sheboygan County Executive Committee on Jan. 28 approved a series of routine actions, including the sale of mitigation-bank credits tied to the Amsterdam Dunes project and a resolution carrying unexpended 2024 appropriations into 2025.
Planning and Conservation Director Aaron Brault presented an overview of the Amsterdam Dunes Wetland Mitigation Bank credit sale; Supervisor Curt Brauer moved to approve the credit sale as presented, Supervisor Kathleen Donovan seconded the motion, and the committee carried it.
County Administrator Alayne Krause presented the 2025 Report on Public Official Bonds; Supervisor Brauer moved to approve the report, Supervisor William Goehring seconded, and the motion carried. The committee also considered Resolution No. 24, to carry unexpended 2024 appropriations into 2025; Supervisor Brauer moved to approve the resolution, Supervisor Edward Procek seconded, and the motion carried.
The committee approved the minutes of the Jan. 3, 2025 meeting and approved vouchers presented at the Jan. 28 meeting. During the session the committee moved into a closed session under Wis. Stat. a7 19.85(1)(c) to consider the County Administrator's annual performance evaluation; the committee later returned to open session, approved the evaluation with modifications to goals and directed it be filed with Human Resources.
