Commission approves 21 School Street change of use, agrees to finalize sewer local limits and authorizes vouchers

The Town of Hillsborough Water & Sewer Commission on Jan. 27 reviewed and approved Water and Sewer Change of Use/Occupancy applications for 21 School Street.
The Commission determined that the proposed recreation use category on Table 1008‑1 of the New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules, Chapter Env‑Wq 1000, does not increase the currently approved discharge and thus does not trigger a System Development Charge. Commissioner Dana Clow moved to approve the water and sewer Change of Use applications "as submitted;" Commissioner Dave Lewis seconded and the minutes record all voted in favor.
Commissioners also reviewed recommended Maximum Allowable Headworks Loadings (MAHL) and Local Limits proposed by Underwood Engineers and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), and agreed to have Underwood proceed with steps to finalize those limits and update the Sewer Ordinance.
The Commission authorized accounts payable vouchers (2025 AP Voucher #2A; 2026 AP Voucher #2), timecards and meeting minutes. Voucher amounts listed in the minutes include: 2025 AP Voucher #2A water $8,604.36 and sewer $24,287.48; 2026 AP Voucher #2 water $27,900.90 and sewer $37,628.85.
The minutes record no dissent and show motions passed unanimously by those present.
