At the Jan. 8, 2026 meeting, Commissioner Dana Clow asked what remains to complete drainage connections on the Park & Whittemore Street project. Commissioner Dave Lewis said crews extended 6‑inch stubs from the 12‑ or 15‑inch ADS storm main to select property rights‑of‑way and capped the stubs with rebar so future connections can be located more easily.
Commissioners discussed proactively speaking with contractors who might do the work so the town can provide a list of potential contractors to property owners when they are ready to connect sump pumps or yard drains. The idea is to brief contractors before publishing the list so they are aware of the intent and existing street infrastructure available for hookups.
Administrator Penny Griffin will assist coordination between the town and interested contractors as needed. No formal vote was recorded; the discussion was recorded for follow up and homeowner outreach.
