Article 37 repealed a separate animal‑waste ordinance because the new dog ordinance incorporates waste rules.
Supporters said the package modernizes and clarifies town code, easing enforcement and eliminating redundant provisions; speakers clarified that the dog rules apply to visiting dogs as well as resident dogs, and that the animal‑waste provisions do not apply to horses. Each article passed by voice vote after limited discussion and clarifying questions.
