Atlantic Beach council adopts ordinance aligning sidewalk rules with town code

The Planning Board reviewed the text amendment at its April 2 meeting and recommended approval, and the council adopted the accompanying consistency statement.
The amendment links Article 18-5, Development Standards, Section 18.5.2 (Access and Circulation, Sidewalks) to the sidewalk provisions in Chapter 16 of the Town Code. Council members did not debate substantive changes on the record during the meeting; the council’s action was recorded as approval based on the Planning Board report and the town staff recommendation.
