Legal staff said a title search identified an estate and that in some photos the posted notice had been removed from the door, suggesting someone had received notice. Staff also observed a roll-off dumpster on-site and said they will contact Dumpster Dudes to determine who arranged the dumpster so that party can be included in the notification process.
If an owner or interested party demonstrates cleanup activity and provides documentation, staff said they typically grant reasonable extensions after receiving a written request. The commission moved to approve the abatement resolution, the motion was seconded and recorded ayes carried the motion.
The commission concluded its regular agenda after the vote and moved into an executive session to discuss pending litigation.
