Mackinac County commissioners set follow-up on recycling, note no Amtrak plans for U.P.

Mackinac County commissioners met in a Committee of the Whole on Aug. 14 in St. Ignace to talk about recycling options and operations at the St. Ignace Transfer Station and to set a date for further discussion.

The meeting was called to order at 3:00 p.m. by Chair Mike Patrick and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call recorded Commissioners Austin Kimberling, Mike Patrick, Daryl Schroeder and Judy St. Louis-Scott present; Commissioner John Kling was absent. Clerk Hillary Vowell recorded the proceedings.
