Board members noted the seasonal nature of transfer-station revenue and contrasted summer demand with slow winter months. The discussion also referenced ongoing regional recycling planning, and Commissioner Daryl Schroeder later requested a Committee of the Whole meeting on Aug. 14 to discuss recycling policy and related infrastructure.
