Kenowa Hills board approves agenda and consent agenda items unanimously

The Kenowa Hills Public Schools Board of Education approved the meeting agenda and a consent agenda during its Aug. 28 regular meeting.
Member Courtade moved to approve the agenda; Member LaBotz supported the motion. The motion to approve the agenda passed unanimously, 7-0. Later in the meeting, Member Courtade moved and Member Robinson supported approval of the consent agenda, which also passed 7-0. The consent agenda included the Aug. 14, 2023 Committee of the Whole meeting minutes and a certified staff personnel report.
President Hart called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. at the district administration building. Student Representative Jacob (Jake) Jonker, Superintendent Hopkins, Assistant Superintendent Dinkelmann and Director Gilchrist were listed as present. Following routine items and future scheduling, President Hart adjourned the meeting at 7:49 p.m.
The board listed upcoming meetings: Committee of the Whole on Sept. 11, 2023 (6:30 p.m., Administration Building) and a Regular Board meeting on Sept. 25, 2023 (6:30 p.m., Zinser Elementary).
