The Labette County Board of Commissioners convened at 9:02 a.m. on May 5, 2025. Chairman Vincent B. Schibi called the session to order; County Counselor Brian K. Johnson and County Clerk Gena Landis were listed as present.
Commissioner Tom Barrett moved to approve the minutes of the April 30, 2025 meeting. Commissioner Terry Weidert seconded the motion, which passed unanimously: Tom Barrett (Yes), Terry Weidert (Yes), Vincent B. Schibi (Yes).
Resident Debbie Cramer met with the commissioners to present research she had compiled concerning hazard zones for airport safety. The meeting record indicates Cramer presented her findings to the board but does not record any formal vote or directive in response to her presentation.
