Forest Heights mayor reports closed-session minutes approved; town election set for March 11

Forest Heights Mayor Lilly reported at the council meeting on March 2 that the mayor and council voted to enter a closed session at approximately 8:52 p.m. to approve minutes from prior closed sessions, citing "article subsection 3-305, reason 13" as the statutory basis for non-disclosure. "The items we actually discussed were closed session minutes from prior sessions," Mayor Lilly said.

Mayor Lilly listed the members who voted to go into the closed session as herself; Council President Noble; Council Member McDonald; Council Member Little; Council Member Brown; and Council Member Kennedy. She also named persons who attended the closed session, including Jason Deloach, Latoya Chisholm and Clay Jackson.
