The Commission requested that the developer add a 40‑foot temporary construction easement and a 20‑foot permanent easement to the plan to permit future installation of a water main, and that all water mains installed as part of the project be 8‑inch ductile iron.
Commissioners noted that no complete application had been received yet; they said a full technical review will follow upon receipt of a complete application. The Commission also said it will provide the Planning Board with the water‑looping study and a map to illustrate why the easement and main sizing are necessary for future system connectivity. Separately, the minutes record that Avanru has not supplied the requested as‑built plans for the 219 West Main Street water and sewer main installation despite prior requests.
The comments are advisory to the Planning Board and are intended to ensure future compliance with the town’s water design and construction standards. The minutes do not record a formal vote on these comments.
