The request originated in correspondence from Rajit Gupta, the property owner, who asked that two sewer units be credited to the last two billing cycles. Town operator Cody Boisvert inspected the laundromat on Jan. 23 and verified there are 14 washers installed. The Commission elected to apply the abatement to future bills rather than issue refunds for invoices that were paid in the prior year.
The action resolves the immediate billing discrepancy for the Gupta account and reduces the laundromat’s billed sewer units going forward. The minutes record the Commission’s agreement but do not list a formal roll‑call vote for the abatement.
