Hampton Falls appoints town staff, confirms fire and police hires

The board also reappointed Jackson Crouse and Paul Michael as Animal Control Officers through March 31, 2027 (motions approved unanimously).
Fire Chief Bobby Hudson reported two recruits — Cole Nealon (Hampton resident) and Brock Day (Hampton Falls resident) — are attending EMS school and seeking careers in the fire service; the board confirmed both as members of the Hampton Falls Fire Department (motions passed unanimously).
The board appointed Elizabeth Barker as Land Use Coordinator upon completion of her hiring probation, on the Town Administrator's recommendation (motion by Lou Gargiulo, second by Edward B. Beattie; unanimous).
The meeting included a nonpublic session earlier in the morning under RSA 91-A:3 II(a) to review the Town's 2024 audit with auditors from Vachon Clukay in attendance; a second nonpublic personnel session was held later in the meeting at 9:49 a.m. under the same statute to discuss a personnel matter. The minutes record that both nonpublic sessions were conducted under the cited personnel exemption and that the board returned to public session and adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
What happens next: The appointed and confirmed staff will continue in their respective roles; the town will proceed with follow-up administrative tasks such as payroll updates and position onboarding as managed by the Town Administrator and department heads.
