Hinsdale Select Board approves FY27 appointments; orders $500 inspection at 85 Goodrich Street

The Hinsdale Select Board on June 24 approved the town's FY27 appointments as presented and directed a health inspection of 85 Goodrich Street, with the Town to bill the property owners if payment is not received.
Bart Collins moved and Ray Huntoon seconded approval of the FY27 appointments. The motion passed unanimously. Appointments recorded in the minutes include Administrative Assistant and Accountant Assistant Clarissa Mitchell; Administrative Assessor Mary Gelinas; ADA Coordinator and Building Commissioner Paul Greene; committee chairs and members for Beautification, Conservation, Council on Aging, library trustees, and others; DPW Superintendent James Callahan; and Fire Department Chief Ralph Cormier, among many named town volunteers and staff.
TA Bob Graves reported that Board of Health Agent Fred Sears said Tri-Town Health can perform the inspection at 85 Goodrich Street for $500. The Select Board is requiring the inspection. The minutes state the Town may invoice the property owners for the cost, the owners would have 10 days to remit payment, and if they do not, the amount will be added to their tax bill.
DPW Superintendent James Callahan updated the board on ongoing public works: Williams Paving has paved over the culvert on George Schnopp Road with completion expected by Friday; the mini-Mack vehicle has been repaired; crews have been blacktopping, grading and patching town roads; backflow testing is underway; new elevation sensors have arrived and are slated for installation in the next fiscal year; and roadside mowing is scheduled to start next month.
There were no public comments recorded at the meeting. The board adjourned at 7:39 p.m.
