Parks committee finalizes six-show Tuesday Tunes lineup and seeks volunteers

Committee members noted an uptick in community interest and sponsor participation compared with last year. "We got more this year than usual," Natalie said, noting the series increased from four shows last year to six this season. Members discussed vendor participation, citing Boots Barbecue and Pineapple Cafe as likely vendors and confirming requirements that vendors operate out of a commercial kitchen.
Volunteer staffing and logistics were central to the discussion. One committee member volunteered to work concessions on Aug. 18 and offered to cover at least one other date. Members agreed to coordinate volunteer sign-ups and banner logistics; Natalie said she could provide a banner and Jason would help if timing allowed.
The committee also discussed sponsorship availability and asked members to follow up with potential sponsors. A member noted that some organizers had requested sponsorship as late as the week before last year and encouraged earlier outreach this year.
The committee took no formal vote on programming beyond previously approved bookings; members noted that sponsors and ticketing arrangements would be finalized in follow-up communications.
