The Electoral Board of King and Queen County, Virginia, reconvened at 10:00 a.m. Nov. 12 in the King and Queen County Circuit Court Room to adjudicate same‑day registration provisional ballots from the Nov. 4, 2025, Virginia gubernatorial election and to finish post‑processing work for certification.
Chair Stuart Swilley opened the session, noting EB members Stuart Swilley, Linda Culbreth and Martha E. Hart were present along with General Registrar Kristy Creech and a Republican Party authorized representative, Cecil Culbreth. “The Electoral Board of King & Queen County, VA, will reconvene the Canvass for the Tuesday, November 4, 2025 Virginia Gubernatorial Election, for the purpose of adjudicating Same Day Registration (SDR) provisional votes,” Swilley said.
The board recorded that the canvass of post‑election results for the Nov. 4 gubernatorial election had been completed. After adjudicating the SDR provisional ballots, Swilley moved to conclude the canvass of those provisional ballots; Vice Chair Linda Culbreth seconded the motion, which the board approved unanimously.
