The Houston Planning Commission approved a large group of consent and reply items and individual plats during the meeting. Highlights of formal actions taken by the commission included:
- Items 1–95 (consent and reply): Staff presented sections A and B as a group; the commission approved staff recommendations for items that did not require notification. - Item 96, Baggett Green: Staff recommended approval of a two‑lot replat and the commission approved the plat subject to CBC‑101 form conditions. - Items 98–106: A sequence of replats and plats (including Clybourn Landing, Cougar Estates, Express Mark 59, Fairwoods at Furman, Lynnfield development, McDonald's and Meadows of Clear Creek) were presented, with staff recommending approval and the commission moving and approving each item. - Item 108: Fulton Station Apartments variance and plat approved (covered in a separate story). - Items 116–133: Special exceptions, reconsiderations, extensions and development plats (including 2301 Addison Road and 7725 Hoffman Street) were presented and approved after staff review.
Two items were withdrawn from today's agenda: Item 64 (Delano Villa) and Item 107 (Residences at Amber). The commission set a public‑hearing date of Oct. 17, 2024 for several future plats and adjourned.
